Residents have a chance to get information for all the upcoming activities in the Drumheller and area on today (September 5) between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Fall Sports, Recreation & Arts Expo.
There are many opportunities for groups to participate including exhibiting, demonstrating, sponsoring or running the concession.
“The Sports, Recreation & Arts Expo is a valuable event to host because it allows all the organizations in the valley and area to come together and show a large audience what experiences they have to offer,” says Heather Little, event coordinator. “It’s really rewarding to see exhibitors returning and sharing how much they get out of participating. Increased education on their activities and increased participation are just some of the benefits for exhibitors. Increased knowledge of the variety of activities, information on how to get involved and save time by registering in one place are benefits to the attendees.”
The Sports, Recreation & Arts Expo is the perfect opportunity for the community to become more informed of the many activities available in our area. Held in March and September, this Expo has over 45 exhibitors showcasing their clubs and activities in booths as well as demonstrations of activities, equipment fittings and musical performances. The Expo is free for people to attend and a great place to ask questions and register for upcoming activities all in one location.
