Senior boys Dynos end league play with win, set to host zones

The DVSS Senior boys basketball team hosted Three Hills on Monday night for seniors night, and while it wasn’t the competition they would hope for heading into the post season, it was a strong win.
The Dynos were able to cycle their whole bench getting everyone playing time as they routed Three Hills. They were able to hold the team from the west to just three points in the first quarter and carried on for the 83-26 win. Jordan Britton had a team high of 23 points.
Despite the impressive finish to league play, there was some strong competition, and the Dynos were shut out of the league final. Acme took the top spot. While the Dynos split with PCA this season, PCA had more total points breaking the tie, and finishing in second.
The Dynos however have the post season to look forward to. Currently they are ranked in first place in the province at the 2A level, and PCA is ranked fourth. That could change however as one more set of rankings are to come out before the post season.
The Dynos will have home court advantage however as they will be hosting the zone tournament coming up on March 9 and 10.
