Motocross riders will be arriving at Dinosaur Downs on Friday, August 19 for Round One of the Alberta Dirt Racers Association Fall Series. Drumheller Off Road Vehicle Association (D.O.R.V.A) is hosting the Southern Alberta 2 day race event.
Spectators can expect to see 200 to 250 competitors, ranging from amateur to beginner, to professional level riders, on both dirt bikes and quads. There also will be a ladies division and a plus 40 class.
DORVA hosts the practice racing on Saturday, which starts at 8:30 a.m.
Alberta Dirt Riders Association (A.D.R.A) competitive racing begins at 9 a.m. with 22-23 classes. Race director Casey Christensen said, “We have Drumheller’s own Titan football team flagging for us.
“It takes seven days to prepare for this event, with a lot of volunteers, members support, and local sponsors they are the ones that help make it happen,” explained Casey.
Spectators can bring their lawn chairs and enjoy the talent of competitors as they compete in this points round of the A.D.R.A. Fall Series.
