Aquadinnies have new name, new coach

The Canadian Badlands Aquatic Club (CBAC), formerly Aquadinnies, is getting ready for the new season and has appointed a new coach to oversee the program.

CBAC president Blaine McDonald announced that Coach Sheila Martin has been named CBAC Head Coach for the 2011/2012 Season.
Martin comes to the table with years of coaching with DAD (last season as Intermediate Skills Coach) and has recently completed Level II NCSA Coaching Certification.  She looks forward to the opportunity to improve communication and coordinate the best swim club ever.
This has been a stellar season for the club, which sent four swimmers to National Trials in Quebec this summer.
Bringing Martin on as a head coach, according to McDonald, is a shift back to a head coach model for the club to better coordinate communication details and swimming programs.
