Chamber golf tourney goes Friday

The Chamber of Commerce 16th Annual Golf Tournament is set to go this Friday, August 5. Tee time at 9:30 a.m.

    The annual event supports local community groups. Recipients this year are the Drumheller Minor Soccer, Drumheller Scouts and Big County Victim Services.
    This year celebrity stars on the golf greens will be Bear Cat Murray, the former trainer from the Calgary Flames, and Jimmy Hughes from AM 1060.
    Community businesses will be on hand volunteering their time throughout the golf course.         If you’re not a golfer there is a live auction taking place later on in the afternoon at Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club.
    Roxanne Clark of the Drumheller Chamber of Commerce says there is still space to register for this event.
