It is with great sadness the family of Melvin announces his sudden passing Saturday, July 7, 2018. Mel was born April 18, 1960 in Drumheller, he was the youngest child of Robert & Nora Cragg. Raised in the Munson area, later moving to Drumheller, where he attended school, while in High School, he was very involved in Drama, Theatre, acting in many plays, he really enjoyed this. After graduation he went to Edmonton for schooling to become a tailor. He worked many years at Bill Cross Men’s Wear as a tailor and selling clothing. In 2001 he purchased the store and ran it along with his wife Maureen until 2016. Mel leaves to mourn his loving wife of 40 years, Maureen (nee Moar) and their “only child” lovingly called Willow. He is also survived by his sister Carol (Tom) Hampton, their children and families, mother-in-law Alice Moar, brother-in-law John (Wanda) and their family. Mel was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, father-in-law and brother-in-law. Family members will remember his love of giving flowers. Mel was very generous and loving and he will be greatly missed. A private family service will be held at a later date, memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones’ choice. March 22, 1962 - July 8, 2018

Patrick Joseph Zambo of Drumheller passed away after a lengthy illness on July 8, 2018 at the age of 56 years. Patrick was born March 22, 1962 in Drumheller, Alberta to Joseph and Edith (Hayes) Zambo, and was the middle of 3 children. Patrick was raised in Drumheller and his childhood was filled with a love of camping, swimming, and family. He completed high school in Drumheller, before attending post-secondary at SAIT for an Avionics Diploma. Some of his interests included flying airplanes with his dad and brother, pistol shooting at the local gun club, classic cars, and wood working. Patrick worked for Hi-Way 9 in Drumheller for many years, before moving to Strathmore, Alberta with his family in 1998. While there, he continued to work in the transportation industry. In 2004, Patrick was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. He continued to work as long as he was able at the wood shop in Strathmore, but his mobility was claimed by MS. Patrick returned to live in Drumheller in 2012 and resided in Continuing Care. He enjoyed his visits from his brother, daughter and 4 granddaughters. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Edith Zambo. Patrick is loved and survived by his daughter Kassandra (Calvin) Russell; his granddaughters; Emilia, Elyse, Everly, and Esmae; his brother Terry Zambo (Cindy Schuiling); and his sister Andrea Zambo. Patrick was always ready with a smile or witty comment, and was full of hope. His family is very grateful to the many nurses and caregivers that helped Patrick over the years. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes, 199 2nd Street West, Drumheller, Alberta. Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate Patrick’s life with one more happy hour from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Yavis Prop Room Lounge, A-249 3rd Ave. West, Drumheller. Flowers are gratefully declined, those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the MS Society of Canada. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.

Judy Eileen Helen Little of Drumheller, wife of Bruce Little, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018 at the Drumheller Health Centre at the age of 72 years. Judy was born on September 22, 1945 in Drumheller, second of 6 children born to Roy & Gwen Lawrence. Judy was unable to work but always kept busy knitting blankets for many friends. If she heard someone was having a baby another blanket was in the works. Judy loved her church and her and Bruce were always active and involved. Judy leaves to mourn, her husband Bruce, siblings; Roy (Brenda) Lawrence, and Bonnie Lawrence. Judy was predeceased by her parents Roy & Gwen Lawrence, brothers Jim, Bill and sister Wendy. A Service of Remembrance will be held for Judy on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes, Drumheller, Alberta. Memorial Donations may be made in Judy’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
