Douglas Owen Smith peacefully passed away June 22, 2018 at the age of 82 in Hanna, Alberta. Doug married Iris Smith July 26, 1958, and were blessed with 3 children: Debbie, Stanley, and Glenn. Doug is survived by his wife Iris of 59 years, his children: Debbie (Charles) Busta, Stanley (Pat) Smith, & Glenn (Colleen) Smith; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother Frank (Martha) Smith, and 2 sisters: Joyce, and Cory. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
