Isabella is predeceased by her loving husband Henry Philip Grenier (October 9, 1978), parents Andy & Helen Armstrong, siblings Meg, Violet, Ruby, Tom as well as grandchildren Scott Heptonstall and Amanda Long. Isa is lovingly remembered by her children Philip Grenier (Pat), Elaine Heptonstall, Glenn Grenier, Darlene Shannon, grandchildren Jolene, Carrie Anne, Dale, Terry, David, Candida as well as great-grandchildren Haylea, Brayden, Azarie, Madison, Olivia, Daenen, Teagan, Meadow, Tia, Corbin, Charlie, Sam, Rowen, Ava, Brooklyn and great-great granddaughter Spencer. Isabella was born in Scotland, February 21, 1917 and came to Canada at 2 years of age on the Minadoso sailing ship. Isa’s family was her heart and joy. Her life was a living example of a great Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”. Isa had a passion for the outdoors looking to the sky, climbing the Drumheller Valley hills, walks with her family, spending time gardening, baking, reading, going to That’s Crafty, yard sales and eating jelly beans.

If tears could build a stairway, we’d walk right
up to heaven and bring you home again.
Thank you for giving us the most wonderful
years and the most beautiful life.

And the story goes on ~
until we meet our Mother again.
We love you and miss you.

A Funeral Mass was held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Drumheller at 1:00 p.m. with Father Fernando Genogaling officiating. Interment followed at the Drumheller Cemetery.
