Fred Dayman was born in the Drumheller Hospital February 25, 1956. Fred and Alisa met in the Last Chance Saloon, were dating by 1988, and married August 25, 1991.

There were baseball games, winter car racing derbies on the Rosebud River (Creek Races), hog rallies, frisbee golf, racing up the hills behind the hotel (for a trophy!), campfire sing-a-longs, swimming in the creek, family reunions, and working tirelessly and fundraising for the Wayne Community Association.
