Wesley Dale Mason passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 62 years. Wes was born on April 21, 1961, in Hanna, Alberta. For the last several years he dedicated his career to STARS, raising money to support air ambulance services for the province of Alberta. His work travels took him to several towns across Alberta, where he enjoyed visits with his many customers and friends. As an avid sportsman, he enjoyed and excelled at many sports throughout his life, especially curling, basketball, baseball, golf, and ping pong, and he took up tennis and pickleball in his later years. He was a dedicated fan to many Canadian sports teams and players. He had a passion for classic cars, 70’s/80’s rock bands; he also enjoyed karaoke singing and socializing with friends and family. Wes will be lovingly remembered by his sons Andrew and Steve. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Barry (Dawn) and sister Lori and his nieces and nephews Laura (Billy), Kari, Jesica, and Jared, his great niece and nephew, Emma and Jack as well as his Aunt Vera, Uncle Jim and many cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Emma Mason. If desired, Memorial Donations in Wes’ honour may be made directly to STARS.
The celebration of life will be held at Delia Community Centre on March 30 at 2pm.
