Marion passed away on December 4, 2023 at the Hillview Lodge (Drumheller, Alberta) at the age of 91 years.
Marion was born May 19, 1932 to Wilhelmina & Fredrick in Drumheller. Marion was one of three children. She took her education in the valley. In 1955 she married Alfred Pollom, they had three children Jackie, Allan, and Agnes. The family lived in Drumheller; Marion busied herself with raising her children. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, her scratch tickets and looking after her family. Marion adored and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Marion was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alfred, and her daughter Jackie.
Marion leaves to cherish her memory, son Allan (Susan) Pollom of Drumheller, daughter Agnes (Richard Charest) Kirkeby of Drumheller, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
There will not be any formal funeral services for Marion, her family have a private gathering at a later date. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
The family of Marion Pollom wishes to thank the staff at Hillview Lodge, Brad, Jessica and all of the supporting staff for their great care of Marion during her stay at Hillview Lodge.
