Gail Benzon passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her children Jodie (Randy) Hingst, Jacqueline (Dirk) Schmidt, Gregory (Wendy) Benzon; Grandchildren Garett, Tynesha, Erik, Ty, Bryce, Sarah, Shelby and Jaden; Great-grandchildren Koa, Rowan and Tay. She was predeceased by her first husband Peter Benzon and common-law husband Ivan Sieppert. Gail loved nature, the hills of Drumheller and viewing the wild horses of the western foothills. She was well-travelled, well-read and embraced each day.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunshine Lodge, Hillview Lodge, Acute and Long-Term Care at the Drumheller Health Center, Home Care, Helping Hands and Dr. Moshood, all of whom provided outstanding care over the years. As per Gail’s request, there will be no funeral.
