Celine Danis, mother of Gilles Danis of Drumheller, passed away on October 31, the day after her 99th birthday. She will be remembered as an independent woman with a keen sense of humour and a healthy curiosity. She lived in style and went in style, arriving at the Pearly Gates at the same time as James Bond himself, Sean Connery. She leaves behind a daughter Monique of Nicolette QC, and two sons, Gilles of Drumheller and Daniel of Montreal, as well as two granddaughters, Marianne Danis of Fort Saskatchewan and Fabienne Champagne of Sorel QC. Also mourning her passing are four great grandchildren, Leonie and Melodie Champagne, and Maximus and Noah Castidy.
