TROUT
Glenda

September 9, 1949 - September 19, 2020

Glenda Trout passed away on September 19, 2020 in the Hanna Nursing Home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Glenda was born September 9, 1949 to parents Oscar and Anne Martin. She grew up with her brother Murray Martin. She graduated from JC Charyk Hanna High School. She married Lyman Trout, and after several years of marriage they purchased themselves a family farm as their new venture.
Glenda and Lyman had 3 children together, Cheryl, Kevin and Corry. Glenda is survived by her sons Kevin and Corry, and her one grandchild, Annabelle Trout.
Glenda started her work career working at AGT. Eventually she discovered her true passion of floristry, and eventually purchased Ginny’s Flowers in Hanna as co-owner with her business partner Ellen Crowle. She was constantly improving her floristry skills by attending courses at Olds College.
Glenda had a passion for collecting elephants, gardening, antiquing, playing piano and she especially enjoyed playing Tetris on her Gameboy in the evening. She always loved to visit and was quick to put on a pot of coffee.
A graveside service was held at Frieden’s Cemetery, on Thursday, September 24, 2020.
If desired, donations in memory of Glenda can be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
