It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother Betty May (Harris) Lowen.
Betty passed away on January 2, 2020 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 84 ending a courageous battle with multiple myeloma and dementia, surrounded by her children: Trevor Harris, Leslie Harris and Tracy Wicks.
Betty was born on November 29, 1935 in Drumheller, Alberta.
She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
She is proceeded by her Mother and Father (Mary and Jack Lowen), siblings: Little John, Kenneth, Ralph, Thomas, Jack and Barbara Coats.
Betty is survived by her children, Trevor Harris (wife Angela, and children Benjamin, Isabella, and Samantha), Leslie Harris (son Brendan), and Tracy Wicks (Trotter) (husband Dave, and children Katie and Alyssa); as well as her siblings Chris Lowen (Vivian), Gwen Cassidy and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Betty had a passion for hair design and teaching many students to excel in their field for many years.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2020 – date to be announced by Family.
