Regena Ruthina
January 7, 1934 - July 8, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Regena Ruthina Sim. Regena passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on July 8, 2017 at the age of 83. She will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her son Robert (Kathy) and her granddaughter Meghan. Regena was born on a farm outside Payton, SK. After some moves within Alberta, she arrived in Drumheller where she met and married her beloved husband Benjamin Sim. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Liknes and the staff at the Drumheller Health Centre, as well as the caring staff in Continuing Care. The family also gratefully acknowledges the loving and tireless support of dear friends Maryanne and Tammy Pugh of Drumheller. Funeral Services will be held at Courtney-Winters Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, please make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
