Mr. Arnold William Shand of Delia, Alberta beloved husband of Arlee Shand passed away on June 23, 2017 in Drumheller at the age of 84 years. Arnold lived in the Farrell Lake district all his life. He loved farming, visiting with neighbours, his cattle and pets were very important to him, especially his dog Adam. Arnold’s favourite season on the farm was haying season. Most important to Arnold was family, he loved his grandkids very much, spending time with them was near and dear to his heart. Arnold was predeceased by his parents; Emmy and David Shand. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife Arlee, daughter; Bonnie (Jason), son; David, grandchildren; Zoe, Rylan, and Brendan, one sister; Ruth Stewart, nephew; Gary Stewart, and a lifetime of friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from the Delia & District Community Centre, Delia, Alberta.
