With heavy hearts the family of Connie Corrine Berchtold (Raisbeck) announce her passing on August 24, 2016 in Drumheller, Alberta. Connie was born in Drumheller, Alberta, on April 14,1962 and lived most of her life in Morrin, Alberta. She loved spending time with her husband Tom, hunting and fishing. She especially enjoyed trips to Creston, BC and the Kettle Valley, visiting Tom’s family. Connie lived life to it’s fullest, she was fierce, she was strong, and always had something to say, but most of all, she loved to laugh and spend time with friends. She is survived by husband and best friend Tom Berchtold, daughter Nicole Kashuba, granddaughter Emelia, son Wes Kashuba (Taylor), stepson Nathan, Mom/stepfather Mary & Don Jackson, siblings, Brenda (Tom), Clay, Randy, Kathy (Gordon), Margie (Laverne), DeeDee (Calvin), Anna-Marie, Tracy, and special friend Colleena. Her BC family, mother-in-law Maureen, sisters-in-law, Barb (Steve), Violet (Avrid), brothers-in-law Fred (Yoyo), Miles, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Connie is now keeping good company as her dad Grant, father-in-law Frank, stepson Ryan, nephews Justin, Sheldon and Shane, predeceased her. A celebration of Connie’s life was held in Morrin on August 30, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada in (Connie’s memory) or any charity of ones choice.
