It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tereasa Rose Tretiak announces her passing on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the age of 93 years. She was born in Hungary on April 23, 1923 and moved to Canada at the age of 3 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam, two sisters (Elizabeth and Mary), two brothers (Joseph and George), and her parents (Joseph and Mary Simon). Tereasa is survived by her daughters, Carol (Stewart) Lecuyer and Bonnie (Rex) Jordan, two grandchildren: Dean Lecuyer and Teresa (Dwaine) Ruckman; five great-grandchildren: Genis (Jared) Quast, Teshia (Mason) Schinnour, Paige Lecuyer, Allie Ruckman, Megan Ruckman; and three great-great grandchildren: Chanel and Amaya Quast, and Ryder Schinnour, her faithful fur baby Taz, and nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. Thank you Mom for all the wonderful memories, we will cherish them as we continue to hold you close in our hearts, letting your love for each of us keep us strong. Prayers will be held at St. Anthony’s Church at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 6. Funeral to be held at St. Anthony’s Church on Thursday, July 7 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
