Peter Shokal of Rosedale, AB passed away peacefully on June 7, 2016 at the age of 71 years. Peter lived a long and diverse life around the world. In his later years he discovered a passion for the west coast art and culture through his carvings and beliefs. A good day for Peter was on the water with rod and reel with his connection to his creator. Pete used his donated creations to give back to the community and children of Drumheller. The family would like to thank friends and the community for supporting Pete in his final years. Peter is survived by his brother Harry Shokal as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Peter was predeceased by his parents Sam and Ustina Shokal as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
