McLELLAN, Doreen Iris Hannah (nee Smith)
June 30, 1932 - March 21, 2016
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Doreen Iris Hannah McLellan (nee Smith) on March 21, 2016 in Drumheller, AB at the age of 83 years. Doreen is survived by her children: Kerry (Pam) McLellan; Kevin McLellan; Kent (Twyla) McLellan and Kris Kucher as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray; her parents, Frederick R. and Rachel Smith; her brothers, Frederick A. and William Smith; her sister, Rae Vaisnis; her son, Robert Kim McLellan; and her son-in-law, Douglas Kucher. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on April 1, 2016 at the Midlandvale Community Hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Personal Alternatives Funeral Services. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation or STARS Air Ambulance in memory of Doreen.
