Romeo was born February 23, 1941 to Nina and Edward Dupuis in McLennan, Alberta and passed away at the Drumheller Health Centre on Monday November 2, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Romeo’s family moved to Grande Prairie where he spent the next several years, growing up, working and eventually met and married Lynda Cunningham in 1963. Together they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Vicki Lynn. Vicki was the light of Romeo’s life until her passing at the age of two. Romeo worked for many years at Dyer Tire in Grande Prairie and then later Fountain Tire. In 1987 Romeo and Lynda moved to Calgary and then in 1991 on to Drumheller where Romeo went to work for Highway 9 driving the Super Bees, which he did for many years. Lynda and Romeo also owned and operated a gift store in Drumheller for a few years.  Romeo loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and Lynda and he spent many a weekend camping at Two Lakes in northern Alberta. He owned a Honda Goldwing and took great pride in riding it. You could regularly find him in the local coffee shop enjoying friends and telling stories.  Romeo is survived by his wife Lynda, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lois & Dave Fenton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pat & Duane Bumstead, brother Philip, as well as 13 nieces and nephews and their families, a few of which had a very special place in his heart.
