It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, John Liptak Jr. (Johnny, Uncle John, Unc.) John grew up and schooled in the Livingston/Verdant Valley District, finishing his schooling at the High School in Drumheller. Growing up in a hard working farm family always had its’ struggles but the highs always seemed to outweigh the lows. John purchased the farm from his parents and continued to successfully farm until the mid seventies. Following his farming career, John travelled extensively and assisted his brother-in-law during tax season. Family was always first for John and after his fathers passing he took it upon himself to look after his Mom. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Liptak. John is survived by his sisters Mary and Sophia. And as the best Uncle ever to his niece Karen and nephews Gerald, Dean (deceased), Brent (Gail), Daniel (Lyn), Thomas and Chris (Fredeen). John leaves behind a broad range of terrific and loving friends and neighbors too numerous to mention. He loves you all. As per John’s request there will be no service.
