While the Kirbys were on their way to the Passion Play a few weeks ago, Richard Kirby caught a beautiful a photograph of a white tail deer leading its young ones through Denis Berdahl’s canola crop just above Hesketh Valley. Unfortunately, the canola was just a little too high for the young ones to be seen.
The Town of Drumheller is set to begin its road work projects for the summer of 2008.
The projects are estimated to start within the next two weeks. While some projects are the responsibility of Alberta Transportation, both the Town and the province have agreed to bring projects together for the benefit of both parties.
Starland County has been working on expanding the rural water supply connections to farms in the areas north of Craigmyle and north and west of of Morrin. The County has secured funding assistance from the Canada – Alberta Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (CAMRIF), and is working towards finalizing the design of the project and preparing it for tender.
