quitl-donation

In what is becoming Central Alberta’s premier show of its kind, Quilting in the Badlands is coming up July 2-5. In its fifth year, it has become a four-day festival embracing quilting and fiber arts, offering competition, workshops, markets and lots of fun. It is also for a good cause too with the funds raised by the show will be donated to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to purchase sterilizing equipment for the operating room. One great support of the event is ATB Financial, which is sponsoring the event. Linda Ames, chair of Quilting in the Badlands, left, accepts the sponsorship of $500 from ATB financial branch manager Adrian Hartman.
