Morrin Corner collision sends four to hospital

On Monday July 16, 2012, at about 2:55 pm, Drumheller Emergency Services including Fire, EMS, and Police, responded to a two vehicle collision at Morrin Corner.  A car travelling south on Highway 56 failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Highways 9 and 27.  A car travelling west collided with the driver's side of the southbound car, sending both vehicles into the ditch.  Emergency personnel were able to remove the two occupants from each car and they were transported to the Drumheller Health Centre with undetermined non-life threatening injuries.  Charges are pending against the driver of the southbound car as police continue their investigation.  Alcohol and speed were not contributing factors.
