Toys for Tots, a Christmas fundraiser, has been in full swing at Westergard Ford since November 21. On December 5, Westergard  Ford  will team up with Western Financial Group to celebrate a Family Christmas, 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the dealership. Pictures with Santa and free horse drawn sleigh rides will be available for all the public, no donation required but it is encouraged. Rod Fox, Branch Manager at Western Financial Group said they are very proud to part of the community, as all the staff live here in the community.  They want to “give back.” Tiffany Andrew of Westergard, said “All toys will be donated to the community and surrounding areas, to ensure all children have the Christmas they deserve.” Please bring a new unwrapped toy as a donation to the Toys for Tots.  l-r Tiffany Andrew and Steven O’Dwyer of Westergard Motors.

Mayor gets pied during Ultimate Pieing Championship

Drumheller Mayor Terry Yemen (middle) and five other town celebrities received a pie in the face during the Ultimate Pieing Challenge (UPC) 2015. 
The UPC took place during the first intermission of Saturday's (November 28) Drumheller Dragons game against the Bonnyville Pontiacs. 
The UPC was put together to raise money for the Dinoarts association. People could donate online picking their favourite celebrity out of the 6 pairs to get a pie in the face. 
The other celebrities who got pied were:
Luke England
Gary Chambers
Fire Chief Bruce Wade
Jamie Worman and;
Councillor Lisa Hanson-Zacharuk

Together $2650 was raised and will be matched dollar for dollar by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce for a total of $5300.
