Wheatland man dies in farming accident

    A 23 year old man was killed in a farming accident in Wheatland County just northwest of Carseland on Sunday.     On June 5 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Strathmore RCMP responded to a report the man had been critically injured while working with heavy duty farming equipment.
    Emergency Health Services were on the scene prior to the arrival of RCMP but despite the efforts of the EHS personnel the male succumbed to his injuries.
    RCMP are not releasing the identity of the deceased at this time, pending the notification of next of kin.
