Rotating postal union strike action hit the Drumheller Post Office Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. with two CUPW workers shutting the outlet down until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

Drumheller postal workers are part of Calgary Local 710 of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, which also includes High River, Hanna, and Three Hills, which are also shut down.
Subscribers to The Drumheller Mail may have received their paper prior to the shut down through regular delivery methods, however, copies of today’s paper can also be picked up at The Mail office.
Regular postal delivery will resume Thursday, June 9.
