Aaron Pritchett concert to benefit library

The Drumheller Public Library has enlisted one of Canadian country music’s brightest stars for a performance to support the vital Drumheller institution.     Aaron Pritchett will be in concert at the Stampede Barn on Saturday, November 20. The event is a fundraiser for the Drumheller Public Library. The concert is hosted by The Drumheller Public Library Society and Riverside Value Drug Mart.
Pritchett has arrived on the Canadian country music scene and has established himself over the last decade. With a reputation as being one of the hardest working acts in the industry, he is getting ready to release his fifth studio album since 2002. His music has received solid radio play, earned strong chart positions, and won the CCMA Award for Independent Male Artist of the Year as well as the Songwriter of the year in 2007 for Hold My Beer. He has performed along side some of Country Music’s top acts including Brooks and Dunn, and Allan Jackson.
Last week he released his latest single Light It Up, and is touring to support his upcoming release In The Driver’s Seat. Along the way, he is using the occasion to help raise money for charity organizations through concert ticket proceeds.
The doors open at 5 p.m. and local musician Brian Lannigan will be opening. There will be beef on a bun and a licensed bar.
Tickets are available from the Drumheller Public Library, Riverside Value Drug Mart and the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce.
