Questions to be taken at Political Candidates Forum in early October

Fall election hopefuls will be taking Drumheller’s questions at an open forum on Tuesday, October 5 at the Royal Tyrrell Museum Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.     Candidates running for the position of mayor, Tara Semchuk and Terry Yemen, and councillors Andrew Berdahl, Blaine McDonald, Sharel Shoff, Zrinko Amerl, Tom Armstrong, Sandy Brown, Jay Garbutt, Bob Hannah, Mike Hansen, Lisa Hansen-Zacharuk, Ed Lehn, Doug Stanford, and Tom Zariski have been invited to participate.
    Candidates will each have an opportunity to introduce themselves, present their platform, and answer questions submitted in written form in a question and answer period.
    Each candidate will have three minutes to speak at the beginning, with question forms being handed out at the forum.
    The Political Candidates’ Forum will be hosted by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce and the Alberta Teachers’ Association Drumheller Sub Local.
    Election Day for the Drumheller Municipal Election will be held Monday, October 18.
