Tess Hamilton honoured for post graduate work

tess.jpg

A local woman is aspiring to work as a producer and screenwriter after receiving honours for her post graduate work.

Tess Hamilton graduated from DCHS in 2002 and has been studying and travelling ever since.
Her early career endeavours were in costume design for film and theatre and she graduated from Red Deer College in 2007 from the Costume and Design program. Her certificate of merit still rests upon the wall of the school. She then transferred to the London College of Fashion and in the Fashion Design and Illustration Program.
Her latest educational endeavour was the Advanced Television and Film Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.
While fashion has always been a passion, she has found her calling as a producer and screenwriter, and aspires to own a production company in the future.
This summer she was in Toronto furthering her carreer doing freelance work as well as producing her own short films, working on commercials, television shows, web series and feature films.
