Garden trampled by vandals

Sometime during the late hours of Jul 5th, to the early morning hours of Jul 6th, some unknown person or persons destroyed the flowers planted at the rear of 265 Riverside Dr. E.

This may seem trivial to many however, the efforts made to develop this area brought much pride to the owners of this property and others that assisted.  This effort demonstrates a strong sense of caring and ownership in this community.  It further shows a sense of safety in their home and neighborhood   The destruction however, has brought extreme disappointment and the feeling helplessness.

We must take pride in our community and send a message that actions like this shall not and cannot be tolerated.  If anyone has knowledge who may be responsible please contact the Drumheller RCMP. Det.
