“We are very please to announce that we made a total of $1,835.00 for the Titans Football team,” said an organizer, Kellie Smith.
The garage sale was held in the gymnasium of Drumheller Composite High School/Central on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., and again on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Within 45 minutes of opening the sale on Saturday, Smith had said they had sold nearly one third of all items, which were donated by members of the community.
“We could not have done it without support from the community and you guys cheering us on,” Smith said.
“The players really pulled out all stops on the set up on Friday and their parents came through working many, many hours to make this sale a very huge success. Thanks to the community for all their support. Keep up the great work you do.”
