Santa joined the Drumheller Fire Department to make his rounds visiting children in Drumheller in the days leading up to Christmas. In Drumheller fashion, he was pulled along by eight tiny dinosaurs on his sleigh as he travelled from neighbourhood to neighbourhood asking youngsters for their Christmas wishes. Also in typical Drumheller fashion, it wasn’t the receiving of gifts but the giving to those in need. Santa and his honourary elves (above) filled a truck full of non-perishable food items donated by residents, as well as $1,617.35 to be donated to the Drumheller Salvation Army. At the presentation are (l-r) Kim McCaw of The Salvation Army, Major Robert Burrell, Amanda Courtenay of The Salvation Army, Major Laura Burrell and Drumheller firefighter Keith Hodgson.
