The Hanna RCMP have laid charges in two cases and are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects.
On May 28 of this year Hanna RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at a rural residential property in the Garden Plain area, north of Hanna.
The investigation has led to a charge of breaking, entering and theft against 35-year-old Travis William Kowalchuk of no fixed address.
Kowalchuk currently has warrants for his arrest for this break and enter.
If you have knowledge about his whereabouts, please contact your local RCMP detachment.
On July 10, 2023, Hanna RCMP initiated an investigation into an assault in which a grocery store employee was assaulted when they attempted to stop a female from shoplifting.
The investigation has led to charges against 43-year-old Veronica Dawn Neuman.
Neuman currently has warrants for her arrest for this assault, as well as charges for theft as a result of a theft investigation from May 15, 2024, where it is alleged that Neuman took a bicycle from a property in Hanna.
It is believed that Neuman may be in the Hanna or Drumheller areas.
If you have knowledge about her whereabouts, please contact your local RCMP detachment.
