While a relatively new group in the valley, the Badlands Trail Society, with its mission to build and maintain multi-use trails that promote year-round active mobility throughout the Drumheller Valley, has been making an impact. On Saturday, October 14, they held Trail Tunes. A small but dedicated group, who are fans of music, made their way to an announced location to hear a private concert, put on by Joe Vickers and Seth Anderson. About 50 came out to the small, but sold-out show and are planning to make it an annual activity. This is just one of the activities the group is undertaking, including trail clean ups, Wing Wednesday bird-watching excursions and guided walks.
