International teams compete at Rover Competition

IMG 9448

Students from across the globe descended on the valley last weekend for the annual Canadian International Rover Challenge. The competition pits teams of university students against each other in a friendly competition, building and operating the best space rover. There were 17 teams at this year’s event including one from Poland. The machines and teams are put through a series of trials testing the machines. The weekend culminates with the Rover Olympics where the teams go head to head in a fun competition. The Tug of War had some decisive victories.
