Three Hills nurse practitioner found guilty of sexual assault

A nurse practitioner, who was working in the Three Hills Detachment area has been found guilty of sexual assault.
Christopher Mah of Red Deer was arrested on November 22, 2022, and charged with sexual assault, extorsion and breach of trust.
The complainant alleges Mah sexually assaulted her in exchange for prescription drugs and money.
A trial for Mah was held on April 11 in front of Justice Barley in the Alberta Court of Justice in Drumheller.
On Friday, July 14, Justice Barley handed down his decision. Mah was found not guilty on charges of extortion and breach of trust, but guilty on the charge of sexual assault.
Mah will return to court for disposition on Friday, November 10.
