It appears the Drumheller Health Centre has solved an issue with hot water it has experienced over the last month.
Readers expressed concerns the hospital in Drumheller was lacking hot water in the morning and in the evenings.
According to Tracy Kennedy, senior communications advisor, central Zone for AHS, last month the Drumheller Health Centre was having short-term issues with its hot water supply. Some areas were seeing it take a longer period of time to get hot water.
“In response, our Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering staff worked vigilantly to resolve the concern as quickly as possible,” stated an emailed response. “Initial repairs were undertaken and followed up with the permanent replacement of a water valve. Work has now been completed and hot water has been restored to normal.”
She notes patient care has not been impacted.
