The Midland Community Hall Association held its Ukrainian Dinner on November 5 and it was a great success. They sold 110 tickets and also fulfilled 25 take-out orders. The association held the event in benefit of new Ukrainian families in the community who have settled to escape the Russian aggression in their home country. Many of the newcomers attended the evening and volunteered. Last week Cindy Sereda, secretary of the Midland Community Hall Association presented Freson Bros. gift cards, purchased from the Drumheller FunTeam to 11 new families in the community to support them as Christmas approaches.
