On Saturday, December 3, the Drumheller Dragons hosted the annual Telus Teddy Bear Toss at its home game versus the Canmore Eagles. The event is in benefit of the local Salvation Army and was helped along by the Drumheller Skating Club, which collected hundreds of stuffed toys that rained down from the stands. Jaxon, 6, Parker, 4, and Thea, 3, Franke were excited anticipating the Dragons’ first goal, which came early in the second period.
Below, the stuffed animals are awaiting delivery to their new families at Christmas.
