Demolition has commenced on the former DrumhellerCo-op grocery store and Greentree Mall. The building has been a fixture in the community since 1978. The grocery store closed in 2017 and the mall within the next year. Shunda Consulting & Construction Management Ltd. of Red Deer is on-site completing the demolition. There is no indication of plans for the property on Highway 10 east.
