RCMP respond to fatal collision near Rockyford

On Monday, September 5, shortly after 7:30 a.m., RCMP received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle rollover on Range Road 232, north of the Village of Rockyford.
Drumheller RCMP, Strathmore RCMP, EMS, and fire services responded.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 23 year-old male resident of Edmonton, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Drumheller RCMP, along with the RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate the collision. The cause of the collision is not known at this time.
The name of the deceased will not be released.
Traffic delays occurred on Range Road 232, between Township Road 280 and Township Road 274 following the collision.
