Drumheller RCMP investigating vehicle vandalism

Drumheller RCMP are asking the public for information after a string of vehicle vandalism and break and enters.
A total of 21 vehicles have been vandalized or broken into at local businesses between Friday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 28.
“Drumheller RCMP are actively investigating the vandalisms and believe they are connected,” Drumheller RCMP acting Sergeant Corporal Alex MacDonald said. “Drumheller RCMP would like to remind the public not to leave valuables, keys, change, etc in your car while unattended.”
The first complaint came in on Friday, June 17 with two vehicles being broken into and rummaged through at Peterson Auto Body.
Drumheller RCMP then responded to a complaint at Excelsior Auto Service on Wednesday, June 22 where four vehicles were broken into, sustaining damage, and were rummaged through. A second complaint of vehicle vandalism was received from Excelsior on Tuesday, June 28 with a total of 13 vehicles being broken into; two other vehicles were also broken into at a local auto body yard.
