A few up and coming Drumheller hockey players were part of a championship team playing for the U13 AA Wheatland Braves. They topped Taber to win the South Central Alberta Hockey League south banner on March 13. They advanced at the overall league championship to play Bow Valley but fell in Game 15-3 and then 5-4 in Game 2.
