Horner acclaimed as UCP candidate for Drumheller-Stettler

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Nate Horner has been acclaimed as the candidate who will represent the United Conservative Party (UCP) in the Drumheller-Stettler riding come the next provincial election.
The Drumheller-Stettler UCP Constituency Association opened nominations for candidates wishing to put their name forward as the candidate on February 17. The call closed on March 3 and no potential candidates came forward.
A provincial general election is anticipated in about 25 months time.
