Drumheller RCMP are asking the public for assistance in relation to two stolen vehicle incidents which they believe may be connected.
On Thursday, February 10 Drumheller RCMP received a call from a resident in the Village of Carbon about a vehicle blocking their driveway. Officers responded and discovered the one-tonne Ford F350 was reported stolen out of Airdrie.
The vehicle was transferred to the Calgary Forensics team for forensic analysis.
Shortly after the vehicle was recovered, RCMP received a second call from another Carbon resident to report a Chevy Trax was stolen from their garage. This vehicle was later recovered in Calgary and has also been taken for forensic analysis.
