The first day of the Town of Drumheller’s advanced polls were held on Sunday, October 10.
According to Town of Drumheller Returning Officer Darryl Drohomerski, there were some 200 people come out to vote, and Drohomerski says there was a big lineup when the polls opened.
“Seems that folks took longer because of the Senate and referendum questions,” he told the Mail.
Mr. Drohomerski suggests anyone interested in voting-either in the advanced polls or on Monday, October 18-should study up on the two referendum questions, about equalization and Daylight Saving Time, and research the candidates for the Senate election.
