On Friday, June 5, the Salvation Army participated in Doughnut Day and delivered donuts to Emergency service providers in the valley. National Donut Day is a tradition that dates back to WW1 when Salvation Army volunteers cooked doughnuts to cheer up the army troops. The tradition has been revived and is now spreading across Canada. (l-r) Constables Victor Iliescu and Dale Selbee are appreciative to receive the treats from Audrey Smith, Amanda Courtenay, Loretta Simmonds, and Judith Orosz.
